Armed men stormed a home near the Badaber police station in Peshawar on Tuesday, killing at least eight family members—including women and children—and injuring two more.
According to Badhaber Circle DSP Nazifur Rehman, the event happened in the Baba Bagh neighborhood of Badhaber. Armed men broke into the opponents’ home and opened fire on them randomly.
He claimed that as a result, two persons were hurt and eight people—four of them were women and the same number of children—were killed.
The names of two of the women were Hamida Begum and Naureen. Among the injured were Iqra and Saba.
According to the police, the two families’ property and money conflicts were the cause of the graphic incident.
