Sydney Sweeney disclosed that she experienced body shaming at the school. She underwent surgery as a result of the bullying. The actress did admit, though, that her mother dissuaded her from doing it.
The Euphoria star said in an interview with Glamour UK, “Show off what you have got. Take ownership of it. Love them. I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a ** job to make my breasts smaller because I felt self-conscious about how big they were in high school.”
“And my mom told me, ‘Do not do it,'” she said. You’ll regret it in college.’ I am very happy that I didn’t. They appeal to me.”
Sydney expressed her comfort in her skin, saying, “They’re my best friends. Everybody has a gorgeous body. When you are confident and you’re happy within, it really shows to other people.”
Sydney talked about her feelings after being featured on a Rolling Stones song in another section of the interview.
“I’m in a Rolling Stones video. How cool and iconic is that? I had a great feeling. The 26-year-old continued, “I was doing everything freestyle, including all of the moves.
She noted, “I mean, who else gets to roll around on the top of a convertible driving down Sunset Boulevard with police escorts? It is the awesome things I never knew I would get to do in this line of work.”
