ISLAMABAD After the fourth session of negotiations concluded without any progress since the PTI chose not to attend, the federal government and Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq expressed hope on Monday that the PTI will return to talks.
After the fourth session of negotiations, which the PTI skipped, ended inconclusively, Sadiq told the media that the negotiations could not proceed because the former ruling party was not there.
“I’m hoping the discussions will pick back up. The NA speaker said, “The negotiations are the only way forward [….] I request the opposition to find a way for the dialogue.” “[And] the [government’s] negotiation committee will remain intact and not dissolve,” she stated.
