The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival is seeking hosts for a variety of events.
These could include boat excursions, paddle boarding, snorkeling, surfing, nature writing classes, and bumblebee safaris, in addition to training for marine mammal surveys. Those who would like to host an event must do it voluntarily, although they are free to charge for their services and keep all money earned. Additionally, assistance from the festival’s organizers will be offered. Participation is encouraged from everyone who wants to share their favorite method to celebrate nature, according to Mairi Robertson Carrey, the coordinator of the festival from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. She declared, “The festival was a huge success the year before.
“The events were incredibly diverse, reflecting the various ways in which we are inspired and delighted by nature.
“Supporting so many of our neighborhood businesses, artists, venues, and grassroots community-led projects was fantastic.
“This year, we want to encourage more people to learn about our special natural environment, how to protect it, and to connect with nature and each other.”
“If you want to talk through your event idea with us, please get in touch.”
