Entering his yard, he lit a cigarette and engaged in conversation with his neighbor next door. They heard a drone buzzing overhead all of a sudden.
Serhiy’s 32-year wife, Angela, claims she witnessed her husband flee and seek shelter when the drone detonated a grenade. “He passed away before to the ambulance’s arrival. She breaks down as she continues, “I was told he was very unlucky, because a piece of shrapnel pierced his heart.”
According to Kherson’s military government, Serhiy is one of 30 people murdered in an unexpected spike in Russian drone strikes since July 1st, the reported. Over 5,000 drone assaults have been documented by them over it.
The use of drones on military targets by both Russia and Ukraine has transformed combat in that country.
