SUKKUR: An attempted robbery at Faizu Laro Road in Sindh’s Shikarpur district on Sunday injured four persons, including former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) politician Mir Ghalib Khan Domki, his wife, and their seven-year-old grandson.
The former congressman claims that approximately 15 to 20 criminals stopped their car next to a picket that was guarded by Khanpur police station staff.
The robbers began shooting at the car when the driver failed to stop it. Two more guards, named Sallar Domki and Mehar Ali Domki, were killed, and Domki, his wife, grandson Ali Nawaz Khan Domki, and guard Nadir Domki were shot.
Shikarpur Shahzaib Chachar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), verified the occurrence, stating that the former congressman, who is also the Giloee clan’s chief Mukkaddim,.
