A recount of the student’s grades resulted in an unexpected shift in the student’s standing in the intermediate tests 2024.
Private college student Afaq Khalid started out with 1119 points in the pre-medical category. But after raising suspicions, he asked the Lahore board for a recount, which led to a 30 point boost in his final score, which came to 1149.
Afaq Khalid moved up to the second spot in the pre-medical group as a result of his improved marks.
The student received a corrected result card from the Lahore board verifying his new standing. Additionally, the board has opened an investigation into the individuals in charge of the examinations’ counting and verifying procedures.
