According to Ian Pelham Turner, a royal scholar, “nobody really knows how Kate is,” News said. “Those that want to advance in their careers are whispering a lot. However, in actuality, the royal family has generations of experience in the art of shutting doors to the outside world.”
“In the past few days, Kate has been stated by the global press as the royal family’s jewel in the crown,” he said. “She [is seen as] the number one royal… stabilizing the monarchy’s future.”
Yet, following her participation in this year’s Trooping the Colour, some palace insiders have started providing royal experts with glimpses of what Kate’s recuperation looks like.
Christopher Andersen, the author of “The King,” told News that Kate is currently “playing a waiting game” in which she strictly complies with her doctor’s directions and hopes that further testing will reveal that the chemotherapy has been effective.
“It’s a stressful, debilitating time for Kate, magnified that much more by the fact that the world is holding its breath along with her,” Andersen said.
