In her highly anticipated Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan,” which debuted in late 2022, the former “Suits” star disclosed that her 2017 interview with anchor Mishal Husain regarding her engagement to Prince Harry was a “orchestrated reality show.” In a recent interview with Saga Magazine, Husain said, “I didn’t know what to make of it,” in reference to Meghan’s comments.
When the American actress married the British prince in 2018, she assumed the title of Duchess of Sussex.
British presenter and photographer Helena Chard told News: “Meghan claimed that the interview was an orchestrated reality show, and Husain wasn’t empathetic or warm enough to do the interview.”
Meghan seemed to put on a great show, and Chard asserted that she and Harry were in complete control of their story. “I think people are wondering why there are so many contradictions in Harry and Meghan’s story because of the differences in their account. It causes others to question their intentions.
Kensington Palace, which oversaw the couple’s office prior to their 2020 royal departure, arranged the 2017 interview. Husain questioned the couple about their relationship during the live sit-down.
