Fact
Geo Fact Check reviewed the chief minister’s whole speech, which was broadcast on multiple news networks on March 1.
Gandapur did not make the comment during his lengthy speech of over 27 minutes. The quotation is wrongly attributed to him.
His exact comments when he spoke on terrorism are copied below.
“Terrorism is our province’s most serious threat, and we will try to eliminate it first. No country can progress unless there is peace. We must protect our people and children. Our soldiers and people have made numerous sacrifices. Hopefully, those who seek to promote terror can change their ideas as well.”
