Andy Farrell is now officially the head coach of the British and Irish Lions, a position he will hold full-time until the completion of the tour in August, after Ireland’s close victory over Australia to close out their autumn season.
Farrell defeated Joe Schmidt and his Wallabies in Dublin, and he plans to repeat the feat in the three Test matches that will take place in Australia next summer as the Lions attempt to win a first series in twelve years.
Farrell said that Australia is “on an upward curve, massively” after a strong November for Schmidt’s team.
