Following FIFA’s usage of folk singer Arif Lohar’s song on social media to wish star player Lionel Messi a happy birthday, Pakistani music gained prominence in the football world.
After being released in 2023, Lohar’s song “Aa” became popular among millions of Pakistanis and is currently gaining attention outside.
FIFA released a Reel on Instagram that featured Messi’s best moments and had Lohar’s song in the background.
The title for the video said “Messi ka Jadoo (Messi’s magic)” in Urdu.
