Following its success, Amazon Prime Video’s much awaited series Mirzapur is getting a cinematic adaptation.
Variety stated that the series, which starred Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi, will now be released as a movie in theaters.
Additionally, Divyendu Sharma, who played the well-known role of Munna Tripathi in the series, will make a comeback in the upcoming film.
In addition to the three, Gajgamini Gupta and Abhishek Banerjee will reprise their respective roles from the criminal thriller series in the film version.
According to the article, after an eight-week exclusivity period, the movie will also be available for streaming on Prime Video in 240 countries after the theatrical run.
