Following their absence from last year’s Commonwealth Day celebration due to health issues, King Charles and Kate Middleton returned.
Charles and Queen Camilla appeared at the most recent ceremony at Westminster Abbey, while Kate and Prince William arrived as well.
The royal family greeted dignitaries and then warmly greeted each other, with William kissing his father on the cheek.
According to Mirror, Charles mentioned something to his oldest son during the conversation that lip reader Jeremy Freeman was able to understand.
King Charles sent Prince William a brief greeting, according to Jeremy, who spoke to the outlet.
“Good to see you,” he said to William.
