The watchdog interviewed 247 children, and every one of them reported seeing things like fights, verbal discrimination, and adult-only video game content.
They mostly found the content through social media and group conversations, and many of them claimed to have seen it when they were younger than the legal age limit on the websites.
The survey found that many kids shared footage of conflicts at school as a regular occurrence.
Others claimed to have witnessed less frequent but more intense acts of violence, such as those involving gangs.
A group of teenagers, ages 10 to 14, claimed they were bullied into watching violent content because they thought it was “funny” and that they would be alone if they didn’t.
