Recent rains filled the pond that was formed during road construction since the contractor neglected to fill it in.
Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Zehri claims that the kids drowned tragically after losing their footing in the deep water while taking a swim in the pond. It is thought that they tried to save each other, which is what caused the tragic result.
With the assistance of the villagers, the Levies Force collected the dead and moved them to a nearby medical facility. The victims were interred in their hometown cemetery once the bodies were eventually given to the family.
In order to provide the bereaved family with compensation, the deputy commissioner promised to submit recommendations to the PDMA and other relevant authorities.
