“All of these claims are refuted by Pakistan. These quotes highlight India’s unsettling fixation with Pakistan. FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated on Friday that “Indian political leaders and their media have a habit of blaming Pakistan for their failures in domestic and foreign policy.”
The statement was made in response to a query on remarks made in Indian media about Pakistan’s purported role in the events in the South Asian nation.
Millions of students went to the streets in Bangladesh during one of the worst upheavals in the country’s history, first demanding the elimination of a controversial quota system in government jobs and later an apology and resignation from the then-prime minister.
