The 62-year-old, the younger brother of former England football player Gary Lineker, posted an update on Instagram following the widespread circulation of a video that purportedly showed him fighting outside a club on the Spanish island early on Wednesday morning.
It was said that after a fight, another man punched him in the jaw, knocking him unconscious for a few minutes.
Wayne posted a picture of himself from a health cafe in which he was wearing sunglasses and had a cut on the right side of his chin.
In addition to owning a beach property on the island, the Celebs Go Dating star also owns resorts in Majorca and on the Spanish mainland.
He wrote: “I wanted to let everyone know that I’m doing okay by writing this article. I have a swollen lip and several sutures.
“I consider myself really lucky that I wasn’t standing two yards further back, as my head would have collided with the wall. It could have been lot worse.
