Many royal experts did not think well of Prince Harry’s attendance at the “Living Legends of Aviation” ceremony. The Duke of Sussex attended the ceremony to be inducted into the hall of fame, and acting legend John Travolta handed him the award. Harry received the honor for his service in aviation as a pilot and veteran of the British Army. Speaking to GB News, royal expert Charlotte Griffiths noted that very few A-list stars attended the event, and she said Meghan Markle had “dodged a bullet” by not going. Charlotte said Harry’s PR team must be holding their “heads in their hands” following his speech and photos with German Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe.
I’m not sure what transpired leading up to this, but they seemed to realize that, given the manner he approached his presentation, it would not be the greatest event ever.”
Regarding the two princes’ photo, Charlotte remarked, “It was quite low-key, but he did manage to get snapped with this guy and it’s a bit sad really.”
Daniela Elser, a royal analyst, also commented on the image, labeling it as “hugely embarrassing”.
“It is a nearly painfully exquisite image: Two titled men who, with differing degrees of enthusiasm, have used their royal connections to cash in to keep themselves in velvet dinner jackets,” she said.
