Even though Tom Brady was mercilessly mocked on Netflix’s “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” his close friends—including David Beckham—continue to inquire about him.
In an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday, Beckham disclosed that he had contacted the former NFL player to “make sure he was okay.”
“The idea is humorous all around. It was hilarious. However, I must confess that I did send Tom a message to see whether he was alright,” Beckham remarked. “But I know Tom well.”
Is he alright?” Kimmel queried.
Beckham remarked, “He’s more than OK, but it was hard to watch.”
It was difficult to watch, but he’s more than OK,” Beckham remarked.
Beckham responded, “No, definitely not,” to Kimmel’s swift follow-up question about when we could see the retired soccer player honored with a roast.
