Mohammad Amir, a Pakistani cricketer, has expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for intervening in a recent incident involving his family during a Pakistan Super League match.
Earlier, Amir publically accused Multan’s Deputy Commissioner of mistreating his family members at the stadium. He said that the official, acting with entitlement, “kicked them out” without reason.
Following his post, Chief Minister Nawaz allegedly contacted Amir to discuss the issue. In a following tweet, Amir acknowledged his gratitude, writing, “All misunderstandings have been cleared by the Deputy Commissioner Multan himself.” I genuinely appreciate it, and best wishes to you as you go on your new adventure.”
I am extremely grateful to the chief minister, @MaryamNSharif attention to my matter and for taking out the precious time to call me.
