HYDERABAD: On Friday, the attorneys’ sit-in protest on the National Highway in Hyderabad began its second day, obstructing traffic to and from Punjab and interior Sindh as a result of the escalation of tensions between the police and the lawyers.
Following a fight between police and attorneys, the lawyers have been holding a sit-in protest in the Wadhu Wah region for more than 20 hours. As a result, there are now lengthy lines of cars on the highway, which is very problematic for both passengers and drivers.
The lawyers in Clifton, Karachi, have halted their demonstration outside the KPT Underpass and allowed traffic to resume.
