CNN stated that United Airlines’ fifth flight incident in a week occurred when a jet had to return to Sydney owing to a maintenance issue two hours into its voyage to San Francisco.
The Boeing 777-300 airliner, which had 183 passengers and personnel on board, successfully returned to Sydney when the airline rerouted it. Passengers were housed overnight. According to a United Airlines announcement, they have rebooked for their San Francisco destination.
This occurrence on United Aircraft 830 is one of several accidents for the US carrier. A week ago, an engine caught fire after consuming bubble wrap. Another flight encountered a tire issue after departure.
Furthermore, there was an incident where a United Airlines plane went off the runway into terrain, and another flight bound for Mexico City from San Francisco was diverted to Los Angeles due to system problems.
