At the Noon Police Station in Islamabad, a case has been filed against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership on the grounds of alleged attacks on law enforcement personnel, damage, and inflicting injuries on police officers during a recent protest.
Charges under the Anti-Terrorism Act and provisions pertaining to assaulting police and causing property damage are detailed in the first information report (FIR).
PTI members allegedly blocked highways and got into violent altercations with the police at the direction of party leaders Shoaib Shaheen and Aamir Mughal, according to the FIR, a copy of which is available with Samaa TV. According to the FIR, employees attacked law enforcement officials with sticks and stones, inflicting injuries and stealing an anti-riot weapon.
