Following backlash about the names of her sons, Rihanna finally spoke up.
The 37-year-old singer posted two never-before-seen pictures of her sons, Riot, 1, and RZA, 2, on her Instagram account on March 8.
Following the birth of her children, Rihanna is seen lying on a hospital bed in the published photos.
She wrote in the caption, “My little miracles #InternationalWomensDay… by far the most powerful thing I have ever done as a woman.”
She went on, “Don’t ask; a lot was going on. I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses.”
One commenter chastised Rihanna for giving her children unusual names, even though many followers were swooning over the pictures.
A user by the name of Tatiana commented, “I detest their names so much.”
