Kashim Shettima, the vice president of Nigeria, said on Monday that Badenoch might “remove the Kemi from her name” if she didn’t feel proud of her “nation of origin.”
Badenoch’s spokesperson responded that Shettima “stands by what she says” and “is not the PR for Nigeria” when asked about her remarks.
