Defence Minister Khawaja Asif responded shortly after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Jemima Goldsmith expressed her worries about his health while he was being held at the Adiala jail, emphasizing the injustices the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership had to endure while the PTI was in power.
Citing “serious and concerning” rumors regarding her ex-husband’s treatment in prison, Jemima took to X on Tuesday to demand her ex-husband’s immediate release.
She claimed that since early September, Khan has not been allowed to call his two sons, his family and attorneys have not been allowed to visit him, and court dates have been rescheduled by the Pakistani government.
We urgently demand Imran Khan’s release, the release of his sisters and nephew, and the ability for his sons to speak with their father.
