Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the legal reforms will guarantee prompt resolution of people’s complaints that are still pending with the judiciary, following the Senate and National Assembly’s successful passage of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
“With the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the people will get quick justice from the judicial system,” the premier stated during a Tuesday meeting with his cabinet in Islamabad, where he congratulated them on the development.
He went on to say that the creation of constitutional benches will benefit the average citizen.
“A long consultation with the ruling parties and those in the Opposition was held regarding the 26th Constitutional Amendment,” he said.
