CHARSADDA: Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, claims that after police crackdowned on the demonstrators last month, everyone left her alone at D-Chowk in Islamabad.
According to sources, the PTI workers were angry at the leaders of the November 24 protest, particularly Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for their sudden withdrawal in the early hours of November 27.
Following a late-night crackdown by the authorities on the demonstrators who had pushed their way to D-Chowk over multiple obstacles, the party leadership called off the demonstration.
Despite her infrequent appearances in official photographs, her constant face veil, and the enormous white sheets that protected her from view during court sessions.
