Declaring it “one on a huge list of priorities,” Representative Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, announced that he and Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., will be reintroducing a previous bill that would have prevented many Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, from holding public office.
It seems that electing the public to select their representatives in Congress and the next president is an unimaginable option. Democrats, it seems, are least interested in the unanimous decision turning into a democratic revolution. Raskin and others seem eager to be agents of disruption in Congress, even in light of the Court’s explicit warning against “chaos” in elections.
