To help children who attend school, the government has announced an increase in the Benazir educational stipends (Benazir Taleemi Wazaif).
With effect from January 2025, this change is expected to help more than six million pupils nationwide.
Mothers of students in nursery through grade twelve will get the stipends; however, in order to be eligible for financial help, parents must register with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
The project seeks to lessen the financial burden of education while encouraging families to make it a priority.
Families registered in the BISP can apply for educational scholarships and will receive quarterly payments, along with other educational support.
A Resource Education App has been released by the BISP to streamline the registration procedure.
