The agency predicts rain today in upper Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Zhob, Musakhel, Chaman, Ziarat, and Quetta may receive mild rain and winds. The top parts of the country will continue to see partly cloudy weather.
According to the authority, the lowest temperatures recorded today in Leh were -4, Kalam zero, Islamabad 14, Lahore 18, Karachi 20, Peshawar 14 and Quetta 10 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, the weather in Karachi is forecast to remain hot and dry today; sea breezes have returned, and the minimum temperature was 20 degrees Celsius.
The humidity in the air stayed at 65%, while winds blew from the northwest at six kilometres per hour.According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will likely reach 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, although no heat wave is expected.
