Wactor approached three individuals by his car at approximately three in the morning on Saturday in downtown Los Angeles (or eleven in the UK time), which is when the shooting occurred, according to the police.
Wactor, 37, died later in the hospital when one of the three opened fire on him.
No arrests have been made, and the suspects fled in their car.
The actor, according to his mother, Scarlett Wactor, had just left a rooftop pub in the area. She told News that he assumed his car was being towed when he noticed the three by it because he had parked it on the street in an unknown location.
