Former President of the Islamabad District Courts, Advocate Zafar Khokhar, has openly supported the creation of Pakistani constitutional courts. Khokhar stressed that these kinds of institutions had to be established in line with the times we live in.
The seasoned attorney emphasized that throughout the previous ten years, this issue has not received significant attention from the administrations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), or Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
With almost 60,000 cases pending in the Supreme Court right now, Khokhar emphasized the critical need for judicial reform. He voiced worry over the challenges citizens experience in securing their rights, getting fundamental justice, and settling property issues.
