According to the UN peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon, a rocket attack on one of its bases has injured four of its personnel.
After two 122mm rockets hit the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil) post in Shama, south-west Lebanon, the Italian soldiers were sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the agency said in a statement.
According to Unifil, Hezbollah or its affiliates most likely launched the rockets.
Hezbollah has not responded to Unifil’s statement, but earlier Friday the group claimed to have fired a missile volley at Israeli forces west of Shama.
