RAWALPINDI: According to the military’s media wing on Sunday, the security forces killed four terrorists in two different encounters in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the general vicinity of Spinwam, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij’s location and after intense fire exchange, two khwarij were sent to hell,” the statement read.
The ISPR added that in a another incident, security personnel in the Spinwam area intercepted the movement of a group of militants attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
