The New York Jets have announced that Aaron Rodgers, the four-time NFL MVP, will be leaving the franchise.
In a game against the Buffalo Bills, 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon, ending his debut season with the Jets.
Rodgers made history last season with 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns, the third-best single-season totals in the team’s history.
Chairman Woody Johnson said, “I personally want to thank Aaron for his time at the New York Jets,” in a statement issued by the team.
“I will always be thankful that he decided to join us to complete his Hall of Fame career, and his entrance in 2023 was greeted with unrestrained delight.
