After four and a half years, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made a historic comeback to Paris with the smooth landing of flight PK 749 in the French capital.
After eight hours of travel, the plane reached Paris after taking off straight from Islamabad at 12:30 PM.
PIA employees and representatives from the Pakistan Embassy were on hand to welcome the travelers at the Paris Airport.
Along with the crew, the flight carried 317 passengers. Senior authorities and Amir Hayat, the CEO of PIA, also boarded the first aircraft.
The airport hosted a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate the event.
After a lengthy break, the flight signifies the return of PIA flights to France.
