Gabriel Basso, star of The Night Agent, talks candidly about his decision to give up acting in order to pursue endeavors that feel more beneficial to society.
“I’m doing acting as best I can right now,” Basso said to Variety. However, I also don’t feel like I’m doing anything to society. That is a possibility if I construct a stone wall. I have contributed to the community. A 30-year-old man can do more significant things with his life, in my opinion,” he remarked.
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the first thing he did after Season 1 finished filming was go to Tennessee and get a stonemason’s license,” said Shawn Ryan, creator of The Night Agent, in addition to offering insight into the character’s demeanor.
