ISLAMABAD: During the party’s “divided” political committee meeting, senior leader Hammad Azhar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur got into a heated argument after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) October 15 D-Chowk protest was called off, according to sources who spoke to The News.
The sources claim that the KP chief minister supported delaying the protest, but Azhar argued that it should go ahead because the nation is hosting foreign dignitaries for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference and mentioned the alleged mistreatment of the party, its leadership, and its workers.
In reaction, Gandapur made fun of Hammad for hiding and for urging employees to come outside for the protest.
