The plaintiff, who goes by Jane Roe in the lawsuit and withholds her name, asserts that the assault happened while she was traveling with the singer from Nashville to Los Angeles for the 2019 Grammy Awards.
The case, which was submitted on Thursday to the Los Angeles Superior Court, claims that although Brooks usually travels in groups, she and he took his private plane to the event alone and that he reserved a single hotel suite for the two of them.
The woman alleges that he raped her in the apartment by showing up nude in the bedroom’s doorway.
Thus far, Brooks’s representatives have declined to comment.
The lawsuit continues by claiming that Books continued as if nothing had happened and that he expected her to do his makeup and hair right away.
Additionally, the lady claims that earlier in the same year, while she was at Brooks’ house, he made an appearance in his undies, took her hands, and touched his genitalia.
Preempting the accusations, Thursday’s lawsuit claims that Brooks filed an additional lawsuit in federal court in Mississippi last month, both of them remaining anonymous.
