The few operational hospitals in Gaza are powered by electricity generators that are on the point of “going out,” according to a report by Al Jazeera that cited the health ministry of the territory. This means that the health situation in Gaza is expected to get worse in the coming days.
The ministry claimed that the loss of the generators, which had been operating nonstop, would constitute a “major health disaster” and demanded that new generators be provided in addition to the restoration of the strip’s energy.
