ISLAMABAD: Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, will arrange a royal visit for ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi and her family following her brave acts in rescuing a woman from a violent mob at Lahore’s Achhra Market.
According to News, the diplomat told ASP Syeda Shehrbano this during their encounter at the Saudi embassy, when the ambassador received the brave police officer.
According to the source, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki praised the police officer’s bravery and informed her that the Saudi government would cover the cost of her travel to Saudi Arabia with her family as a royal guest.
He praised the ASP for her selflessness and professionalism in handling a stressful scenario.
A day earlier, the Gulberg ASP called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters.
Gen Munir acknowledged the vital role Pakistani women were playing in all walks of life.
