At the Stadio Olimpico, Daniele de Rossi’s team defeated their city rivals with a single goal from the defense.
Following the game, Mancini celebrated by flying a flag with a black rat on top of Lazio’s sky blue and white colors.
Mancini, according to Lazio captain Ciro Immobile, was impolite.
“There are different ways you can celebrate, some people do it with style but other people not so much,” Immobile stated.
Waving the flag in front of the stand that housed Roma’s die-hard supporters, Mancini went around the perimeter of the stadium’s running track.
Later on, the 27-year-old Italian international said he “didn’t want to offend anyone” and expressed regret for his conduct.
