Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been forewarned that their recent ridicule may cause problems for their relationship.
Comedian Jo Koy made fun of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during the Golden Globes, and now the couple is warned to expect widespread disgrace.
According to Mark Boardman, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a cunning decision to withdraw from the Golden Globes in order to avoid the humiliation of being made fun of, especially on a worldwide scale.
“The absence of public appearances among peers and other celebrities may indicate that Meghan is taking a step back to start over and rebranding.
“Unfortunately, mockery can have a significant impact on public image, especially on a global scale,” he continued.
“Reactions to such incidents are likely to be varied; some people may find it humorous, while others may see it negatively and remember this for a very long time, which will work against the power couple,” Mark went on.
“Public figures such as the Sussex’s have to navigate a delicate balance between public acclaim and criticism, and all too often remain silent on the matter, which for me is a sign that they do not know how to handle such situations which can influence public perception.”
