International leaders have denounced the murder of seven relief workers in Gaza by Israeli airstrikes and demanded a prompt probe into the incident.
The charity workers, who worked for World Central Kitchen to supply food to the people in Gaza, included Palestinians and foreign citizens.
According to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Israeli attack that claimed the lives of the staff members increases the total number of assistance workers murdered in Gaza to 196, including over 175 UN employees.
“This is unacceptable,” Guterres declared.
