The price of gold has soared both domestically and internationally, hitting a record high of Rs282,300 per tola in Pakistan for the first time.
Ten kilos of gold now cost Rs242,027 total because the price of a tola has climbed by Rs500 and the price of a gram has increased by Rs429.
The increase brings the price of gold to a new high of Rs282,300 per tola.
The price of an ounce of gold has increased by $5 globally to $2,726.
