Friday saw a sharp decline in both domestic and foreign gold prices. At Rs300,500, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,500.
The cost of 10 grams decreased to Rs257,639, a decrease of Rs2,143.
The price of silver fell by Rs64 as well, to Rs3,240 a tola.
The price of gold dropped $24 on the global market, to $2,863 an ounce.
