Following a worldwide decline, Pakistan’s gold prices dropped for the third day in a row on Thursday, falling Rs3,300 per tola (11.7 grams) to Rs303,000, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Ten grams of the precious metal also dropped in price by Rs 2,829 to Rs 259,773.
The price of silver, however, stayed the same at Rs 2,841 per 10 grams and Rs 3,314 per tola.
On Wednesday, the price of silver dropped Rs36 to Rs3,314 per tola in the local markets, while the price of yellow metal fell Rs2,400 per tola to Rs306,300.
On Thursday, global gold prices dropped more than 1% to their lowest point in over a week.
