Monday saw another increase in gold prices in Pakistan, in line with global trends.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs200, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), making the new rate Rs275,700.
Parallel to this, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs171, ending at Rs236,368.
The price of gold increased both domestically and internationally, closing the day at $2,656 per ounce, up just $3. At Rs3,050 per tola, silver prices in the local market stayed stable.
